Spiral and Cartridge Heaters

How Mold Heaters Work

Mold heaters are generally referred to as cartridge heaters and hot runner heaters. Spiral hot runner heaters are also used in injection molds. Cartridge heaters heat up to high temperatures, heating the mold metal from the core, and are switched off by a thermostat once the desired temperature is reached.

This ensures that the mold is maintained at the desired temperature and allows the materials to take the correct shape inside the mold. Molds that use cartridge heaters must also be equipped with advanced control systems. This allows operators to better manage the heating process.

Advantages of Mold Heaters

Cartridge resistance mold heaters offer benefits for many industrial applications. One of these is ensuring that materials take on the correct shape inside the mold. Cartridge heaters also ensure material quality by maintaining the mold metal’s temperature at a specific level. Additionally, mold heaters can shorten production times and reduce energy costs by enabling materials to be processed more quickly.

Applications of Mold Heaters

Mold heater cartridge heating elements and hot runner spiral heating elements are used in many different industries. They are widely used in plastic injection molds, molded plastics, casting, plastic film production, rubber production, and many other manufacturing processes. This equipment ensures that heat is applied correctly during material forming processes and allows materials to take on the desired shape within the mold. Mold heaters are also used in the production of medical equipment, automotive parts, household appliances, and many other products.
